We Are All Special is an interactive book that explores the concept of diversity and celebrates the special qualities that make each individual different, be it their appearance or personality.
At the end of the book, there is an engaging activity where children can open four windows to observe how Adam interacts with his friends. This allows them to develop their sensory and motor skills while highlighting the unique characteristics of each of Adam’s friends.
This book is part of the I Am Adam series by Adam wa Mishmish. Additionally, it is connected to a YouTube song and its very own augmented reality App, both of which can be accessed by scanning the codes on the back cover of the book.

At this age, children become aware of people who are different from them, whether in appearance, colour, personality, or even in their thoughts and dreams. This book presents several characters with interactive images that illustrate each character and their differences. We see differences in appearance: tall, short, wide, and thin. We also see differences in aspirations, as some children like to draw, while others like to play music or write. All of this reinforces the importance of accepting others and coexisting with them regardless of their differences. It also emphasizes that these differences make each of us unique in our own way. At the end of the book, there is an interactive page with four windows that the child can open to see how Adam interacts with his friends, despite their differences.

About the Author
Adam Wa Mishmish is a project that helps young children learn Arabic through music, illustration, animation, and play. The project started as a YouTube channel, where the founders would also perform in musical concerts and plays live for kids. Today, however, the project has grown to include a curriculum designed by early childhood experts to build a strong foundation for Arabic in children. The fun curriculum includes storybooks, games, songs, animations, and activities
About the Illustrator
Lutfi Zayed is an illustrator and comic artist based in Amman, Jordan.
Zayed has showcased his work in several festivals and exhibitions, and published his first comic book, titled “485 Frames” in 2019.
